Atiku Loses His Polling Unit To Buhari

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has lost his own polling unit to President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The announcement of the results, brought wild jubilation.
President Buhari polled 186 votes to defeat Atiku Abubakar who polled 167 votes.
The APC also cleared the results for senatorial and House of Representatives seats at the polling unit.
For the Senatorial race, the ruling party polled 187 votes while the PDP polled 120 votes.Similarly, in the race for the House of Reps, the APC polled 145 votes while the PDP polled 121 votes.

President Muhammadu Buhari has won the election in his polling unit (Kofa Baru polling unit (03) Sarkin Yara Ward A), in Daura Local Government area of Katsina state.

The presiding officer, a corp member, Aliyu Abdullahi announced that Buhari polled 523 votes, while Atiku got 3 votes.

For the Katsina North Senatorial election, APC’s candidate, Ahmad Baba Kaita polled 248, Mani Nasarawa (PDP) got 2 and Mohammed Lawal Nalado of the Accord Party polled 263.While in the race for the House of Representatives, the PDP got 2 and APC had 258 votes.
