MIGUEL, MARY J. BLIGE AND MORE TO PERFORM AT THE OSCARS

Ahead of this this year’s edition of the world’s biggest movie event, the Oscars, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has announced the artists that will be taking to stage to entertain guests with beautiful music pieces.

This year’s lineup will include Common, Mary J. Blige, Miguel, and Sufjan Stevens; Producers, Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd, confirmed in an interview. “We’re excited to have these talented artists showcase the powerful contribution music makes to filmmaking”, they said to Entertainment Weekly.

Common will be performing ‘Stand Up for something’, an OST for the movie, Marshall, Miguel will perform ‘Remember Me’ for Coco, alongside Natalia Lafourcade and Gael Garcia Bernal. Sufjan Stevens will be taking care of Call Me By Your Name’ s ‘Mystery of Love’, while Mary J. Blige who will be hoping to win the ‘Best supporting actress’ plaque does justice to ‘Mighty River’, one of the songs from Mudbound.

The Oscars will hold at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, March 4 2018, and will have have Jimmy Kimmel as host.
